Allis, that was exactly my point. It should start with 45, it shouldn't have an X and it shouldn't end in PA. I understand that replacement blocks were blank and dealers were supposed to stamp the old original number in the new block (and that many were left blank) but I can't understand stamping a 45 motor with such a wrong WD serial number (even the D is backwards!).
