Question. The float switch in the base has been activated because the pump cannot get the water up to the drawer. At the back of the dryer near the bottom right you will find a black rubber tube. Take it off (make a mental note of where it came from, there are two positions and it must be put back where it came off!!) either blow down it or if you you have a big syringe flush some water through.
BOSCH CLASSIXX TUMBLE DRYER FILTER PROBLEM? The Bosch engineer that came to fix my machine said it was fabric conditioner sticking to the inside sensor of the dryer!! And it didn't fix the problem Even after he advised me to scour/scrub the inside! Bosch classixx 7 tumble dryer shows 'E06'. Any ideas what this is referring to?. SOURCE: Bosch Condenser Dryer Classixx I found this on justanswer.com, I am going to try it this weekend and I will post an update. 'Ok if you remove the left hand side panel then located at the back is the drain pump.
If this doesn't work, take of the lid off and attached to the drawer surround you will see the other end of the tube. Check the white plastic spigot it is attached to is clear with a pipe cleaner or cable tie.

If neither of these work unfortunately you're going to have to bite the bullet and call an expert.PLEASE ENSURE THAT THESE TASKS ARE CARRIED OUT WITH THE DRYER DISCONNECTED FROM THE ELECTRICITY SUPPLY.Good Luckrd April 2010. I had the same problem - there are loads of solutions offered on-line. Cleaning the condenser, tipping the machine on its side to empty excess water etc. I tried them all with temporary successes. In the end, I disconnected the mains, took off the top and undid the side panel screws so I could get at the excess water/overfill hose. I then disconnected the excess water hose at the bottom and just stuck it out of the back of the machine, secured the side panel again and replaced the top. The machine has worked perfectly since. You just have to remember to always empty the water container.Simon March 2013.
The secret to fixing this problem is accessing a hidden panel in the recess where the condenser unit, not the water container, sits. I have a Bosch Classixx condenser dryer which has this hidden flap but it seems many bosch condenser models have it. Make sure the unit is powered off.
I left it plugged in but was careful not to power it on during the clean. When you pull the condenser unit out, which is on the front of the dryer, on the left hand side at the bottom, the hidden flap is flush with the bottom of the recess where the condenser normally sits. Run your hand along the bottom of the recess and find two flanges towards the back. It opens like a remote control, or standard battery compartment. I was frustrated to get the flap open, as you can only get one arm in the recess, and there are two flanges.
You need to work on one at a time. I found the right flange easier. Used my forefinger to pull it towards me and my other fingers to find the edge of the panel and force it up a little. This is enough to off centre it which then prevents it from falling back in whilst you do the other side. Reach into the new opening and pull out the gunge.

Shove a dishtowel into the opening to sop up the water. Reach to the back of the recess and beyond and pull out a big pad of compacted but mostly dry fluff whilst you are there. Put the panel back in, replace the condensing unit and feel proud you fixed it. Goodness knows why this isnt mentioned in the manual, or why it is so hard to access yet has an official entry point.Kwray2002 December 2014. Thanks to Kwray for the response avove. I had the same issue.
My Exxcel 7 Dryer kept flashing container full, which was odd because the machine is set up to drain via the hose at the back. I pulled out the condenser unit and raised the flap located at the back. It is difficult to open, I gently worked it open with a very small flat screwdriver. It was full of old fluff. Once back in place the machine worked as it should. What a silly place to put a flap which needs servicing every once in a while. Thanks to the previous poster, otherwise I would never have looked there.GiddyH February 2015.
Have had the same problem with my Bosch dryer for some time, intermittent stopping with a 'full container' light when there was only a drop of water in it. Finally it stopped drying altogether and I figured an engineer was going to be needed. Then I found this solution. I'm too arthritic to do it myself but today my daughter followed these instructions and cleaned it out. It is now drying perfectly again for the first time in months. Thank you so much, you saved me a fortune.Shirley August 2015.

Brilliant solution. Bosch Exxcel 7.Remove the condenser unit, push the end of a small flat blade screwdriver under the edge of the flap (a torch to light the way may also be useful here) use your fingers on the 2 retaining tabs and the lid pops out. Took two handfuls of grey 'sludge' out of the reservoir, popped the flap back on and slid the condenser back in.
Annoying Problem solved! I presume the 'sludge' is affecting the water flow and causing a false 'container full' sensor alertGary October 2015. Oh my goodness - it worked!!!!My 'container full' light has been flashing at me for months and I kept emptying the container and also rinsing out the condenser unit.Having followed the above instructions, I now have a margarine tub full of sludge and the container light has stopped flashing at me!How simple; it took me 15 minutes overall.
The worst part is putting your hand into the sludge at the back. Thank you Kwray and everyone else who has posted; I'm very grateful.Amanda M. January 2016.
To Liz G.Look at your tumble dryer - at the bottom left is a door with a little flap sticking out along the top edge. Press this down and the door will drop forward. At either side are levers holding the condenser unit in place - one pushes downwards and the other upwards - you can now slide the condenser unit out of the machine.using a torch, look towards the back of the machine and you will see a flap set into the floor with 2 small indentations to use as levers. Now just follow the instructions that everyone else has given above (particularly Kwray).Good luck!Amanda January 2016.
IMcloughlin - After cleaning out the swamp, the dryer worked for a few weeks but then stopped again with container coming light on. However, after searching online for more answers I took a bottle brush to the container under the flap which cleaned out more fluff and soaked up all the water with kitchen towel (quite a lot in this space since last time). Its possibly something to do with the sensors in this space registering water as a suggestion the container is full.
Now working again!Sally February 2017. Just another big thank you to KWRAY!!
My husband now thinks I'm a 70 yr old mechanical genius - no - it's Kway and other generous sharers that should be celebrated- it's taken me a bit more time - proping the machine at an angle helped me so I wouldn't have to lie on the floor so much. Also using the torch on my phone to see first exactly how the flap would come up. Other invaluable aid was my gardening kneeler for getting up & down so much to the sink & the bin.Jean R B'ham January 2018 February 2018.
