Gliderol Garage Door Reset Limits
The garage door limit switches may need to be adjusted. It may be obvious when you examine the door what type of limit switches you have. A door opener with a screw drive may have spring loaded switches that shut the motor off when the carriage hits them. Chain drive units may have lugs in the chain that can be repositioned.

HiHoping someone can help, my Gliderol GTS panel door fitted in December 2010with the newer type PCB, got itself in a not and was stopping below the height of the garage door opening. I contated Gliderol who emailed me the manual for setting the limits, followed the instructions and now none of the handsets work. Best guitar rig 5 presets. It just beeps at me twice. I followed the procedure for reprogramming the handsets but still just two beeps and no movement from the door.I have read some old threads regarding the older Gliderol GTS 2000 model but unable to find the solution. When I started the reprogramming of the limits the door was in the open position (if this helps).Gliderol are more than happy to come and look at it now it is out of it's 12 month warranty @ $99 for first 15min and then $22 for every 15mins after that + parts.

So goodness how much that will cost.Any thoughts greatly appreciated. HiI had another play yesterday and manually lowered the door to its correct position. I started the set up procedure from there: 1. Press limit button (on the PCB) until the controller beeps 3 times, 2. Adjust upper limit to desired position - at this point I pressed the limit button once which the instructions do not tell you to do this and the contoller beeps once, 3.
Adjust lower limit to desired position - I again pressed the limit button and the contoller beeps once, 4. Wait 2seconds and the contoller then beeps again the light comes on and the door automatically comes up.great. It is still stopping too low but the remote control now worksSo the problem appears to be if I set the limit to where I want or I think it should be it does not like it and when I press the remote the contoller beeps at me twice.I am not sure it has sensors or it is electronically timed for opening and closing, it does have a load sensing to STOP on TOUCH when not closed correctly it reopens.I will remove more covers when next get chance and investigate further.
Sorry to bring up an old thread but just experienced a similar problem today.Earlier on, I had to turn the mains power off the house for some work for approx 15 minutes. After this the power was turned back on and about 1 hr later I tried to operate the garage door with no success. It is a gliderol roller door and has a Glidermatic GTS 2000 overhead door opener. The fault that occurs is this: The door was in the down/shut position and when I pressed the remote control, the door did not move and only 2 beeps came from the overhead controller. Trying the other remote controls the same thing happened. I've never had this problem before and other times when the power was turned off, all was ok afterwards.Any ideas n how to fix it?
